ACNJ's Corona Virus COVID-19 Safety Procedures
We have implemented many COVID-19 safety guidelines to protect patients and staff. Learn how we are providing acupuncture treatments in the safest way possible. Below are the steps we have taken to ensure your health and safety as well as our staff.
We have installed a plexiglass barrier between the reception area and the waiting room.
We will enforce strict hand-washing procedures. Upon entry, patients will be required to wash their hands before entering office area. Practitioners will wash hands before every patient encounter.
Patients, staff and practitioners will wear masks at all times. Masks, gloves, disinfectant and other protective gear will be used and kept in stock.
After each treatment, we run HEPA air filters for ten minutes to remove any virus in the air before the next patient is brought in.
Treatment rooms, door handles, switches and all surfaces will be cleaned and wiped down after each patient encounter and regularly throughout the day with medical-grade sanitizer.
We will continually educate ourselves and adhere to best practice guidelines related to workplace safety as directed by professional and governmental bodies.
