We strive to provide transparency in all our fees, please contact us to discuss them in more detail.

Financial & Scheduling Policies
At the time of your initial consultation and exam, you will be given a clear description of your treatment plan. It is very important that you adhere to the treatment schedule in order to get the optimum results. For instance, we may recommend treatments twice a week for four weeks, then once weekly for six weeks, and then we will re-evaluate your progress and make further recommendations.
The office is open six days and four evenings a week so there will be enough appointments available to keep to your scheduled treatment plan. Please remember that if your condition is chronic, that is, over six months old, you must be treated consistently for optimal results.
Therefore, if for some reason you are unable to keep your scheduled appointment call us at least 24 hours in advance and make every effort to reschedule the same week so you do not skip a treatment. This is both a courtesy to us and to our other patients who want to get in for treatment, as well as a vital part of your therapy. If you do not call to cancel or change an appointment, we will charge you a missed appointment fee.
We are currently providers with the BlueCross/BlueShield and UnitedHealth Care family of insurance companies. If you’re a BCBS or UnitedHealth Care policy holder, we can check your benefits to ascertain if they include acupuncture coverage. Please call us and we’ll take down the information we will need to speak with BCBS and determine your coverage.
We are not in-network providers with any other insurance companies but if you have out-of-network benefits for acupuncture we can provide you with the means to submit to your insurance for reimbursement.
In order to find out if your policy covers Acupuncture, call your insurance company and ask them to send you a copy of their regulation regarding Acupuncture. Many insurance companies do not give the correct information over the phone. Some companies limit the number of visits, or will cover Acupuncture only for certain conditions. Sometimes they say they do not cover Acupuncture, yet they will if your physician recommends it. If you have any questions or problems regarding reimbursement for our services, please let us know.
